Health-care violence: Urologists on edge; motivations under scrutiny

The CUA proposed “Threat Awareness Program” (TAP) to be studied as a means to allow provider-to-provider communication on adverse patient encounters. TAP is part of our effort to find a simple, common sense way to help protect healthcare providers and urologists using a legal and appropriate method. The program is in the exploratory stage.
