Good news for coalition opposing SB201 (Intersex)

Faced with a broad coalition of pediatric and urological societies, plus powerful patient testimony and CUA/CMA opposition, the committee hearing SB201 on April 1 asked Sen. Weiner to work out a compromise version with the groups opposed. As a result, Sen. Scott Weiner has tabled SB201 until next year. The bill is expected to be taken up again in January 2020.
